Let us have a look at the specifications of the Sony Xperia L1.

Display Size and Resolution:

The Sony Xperia L1 features a large 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device feels premium while holding it and also has a nice glossy finish to it which feels rich. With narrow borders on the side and a square design with the rounded frame, it feels business-class.

The device features a powerful 1.45 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor that is capable of running daily applications such as WhatsApp and Facebook with a fair amount of ease. However, the processor might not be able to run graphic intensive games such as N.O.V.A 3 or Asphalt 8 without a few glitches from time to time.

The Sony Xperia L1 features a great 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter to capture selfies. Although the camera is not as good as its competitors specification-wise, Sony has had a good history with its camera devices, and we expect the same to continue with the L1.

Operating System:

The device runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. As it is a Sony device, we can expect it to get a fair amount of updates before being rendered out-of-date.

The only downside to the Sony Xperia L1 is that it comes with a 16 GB internal memory which makes it almost impossible to be used as the minimum requirement for an average user is around 32 GB of internal memory. Also, it is coupled with a fairly low amount of RAM, 2 GB which shall make the multi-tasking operations a bit tedious for the smartphone. However, you do get a microSD card slot that supports up to 256 GB of memory.

Battery Capacity:

The device also features a smaller than average 2620 mAh battery which is expected to run out of juice by the end of the day easily. Considering that the competitors are offering at least 3000 mAh battery, the Sony clearly has let its customers down.

Connectivity and Sensors:

The device comes with a dual sim tray that allows the users to access to cellular networks at a time.

While the phone is a good deal for Sony lovers, it is not so much so for non-Sony lovers. There is a fair amount of competition in the market right now which makes the small battery life, internal storage and RAM a big downside for the Sony Xperia L1. Price of Sony Xperia L1 is about 12000 rs.
